All of our interior products are sealed with a clear, low VOC, matte lacquer finish. This is a finish that when properly maintained with look great for decades.
Try to prevent the build up of dust on your furniture. Heavy build up can result in scratching when cleaning and can create discoloration over the years.
When wiping down your furniture always use a soft cotton cloth as some other fabrics can be abrasive.
If the piece needs cleaning beyond a simple wipe down, use a damp rag and diluted mild soap if necessary.
Do not allow water or any other liquid to stand on the surfaces or your furniture. Spills and moisture should be wiped away immediately.
The natural color and beauty found in all of your wood furniture can fade with direct exposure to sunlight. Whenever possible block these harmful rays with window coverings or shade screens.
The general rule of thumb is this: If you are comfortable, so is your furniture. By following the recommendations found above, we can assure the longevity of all of the wooden pieces in your home.
